Mass

Mass tells you how much matter an object contains. In everyday speech people may say “weight”, but grams (g) and kilograms (kg) are units of mass. 1,000 g = 1 kg.

Words to know

mass:
The amount of matter in an object, measured in grams or kilograms.
kilogram:
